ART // TECH // PLAY LIVE Producers' Edition: What the T*ch?!! - Collusion

ART // TECH // PLAY LIVE Producers’ Edition: What the T*ch?!!05 February to 05 February 2026

How are artists and producers developing and distributing ambitious work?

Now in its fifth year, the annual Producers’ edition of ART // TECH // PLAY LIVE explores how artists and producers are making and distributing shows and projects that engage creative technologies to deliver novel public experiences. This year, the event will focus specifically on the precarity of the pipeline that supports the progression of an art/tech idea through the R&D stages, into production and then distribution.

Through presentations, panels and demos, exploring a range of perspectives, research and case studies we’ll discuss the challenges and opportunities, aiming to identify ways to strengthen the pipeline.

The event will be chaired by Alex Rowse, Executive Producer at Marshmallow Laser Feast, a world-renowned experiential artist collective that blurs the lines between art, immersive experiences, XR and film. With Keynote speakers Karen Reilly and Sal Pittman from KlangHaus, a live art company composed of three musicians and a filmmaker, whose work is “bespoke, agile, terrifying, gorgeous and rooted in the tropes of cinema, theatre and the very finest elements of live rock n roll.”

We have commissioned some fresh research to inform the event. Led by Rosalind Coleman (Punchdrunk, Circa Contemporary Circus), we will share a snapshot of the current state of play for project progression and what it means for artists, producers, venues, and audiences across the UK.

Tickets are pay what you feel, £15 suggested. We can’t wait to see you there!
