Collusion has been working in King’s Lynn for the past nine years, with a broad range of local partners, on public art projects covering a range of issues that respond to the needs and interests of local communities. You can read more about our past projects here.
The recently announced Queer Stories of Lynn project, funded by Historic England, will celebrate overlooked LGBTQ+ stories in King’s Lynn working with local young people through a series of workshops to research and create an augmented reality art trail. This project will be developed based on local interests, particularly of young people, to celebrate local lives and create the first public record of LGBTQ+ histories in the town.
We have received strong positive support for this project, including from the local partners who we will be working with. We had initially planned to work with True’s Yard on Queer Stories of Lynn but they are no longer connected with the project. We hope to work with them again in the future.
