Seminar: Artificially Intelligent

Tuesday 26th June 2018

Cambridge Junction, Clifton Way, CB1 7GX, Cambridge

'Artificially Intelligent' is co-organised by Collusion with the Leverhulme Centre for Future Intelligence. It will explore the many concerns that arise already from a global economy and culture that are driven by forms of artificial intelligence. These concerns are not projected in the future as ethical matters for academics and politicians to contend - they are common now to many of our everyday systems and structures; most often designed by a consenting and sometimes narrow information technology 'elite'.

The danger then is that the historic and institutional biases of the past are then imbued in new algorithmic systems, often referred to as 'bias in, bias out'. Please book here»
