Announcement: in_collusion R&D artists 2017

Since January, through our artists’ labs, Collusion have had the pleasure of working with 26 talented artists from all over the UK representing a whole host of disciplines to explore our in_collusion themes: data-culture, virtual, augmented & mixed reality and artificial intelligence. Check out more on the labs here.

As a result of this work, a couple of artists from each lab have been chosen to enter our tailored programme which supports them to research their ideas further, gain access to technology and expertise and helps them produce new works, expand their knowledge and practice.

Following our last lab in June 2017, our R&D cohort is now complete and we’re pleased to support this amazing group of artists;

These short R&D projects will be showcased in late 2017 and we’ll be sure to update you here and on our social media channels too as the work develops. All R&D artists, lab participants and UK professional artists can then apply to our larger commissions programme, to be announced in September 2017.

The labs and R&D projects are funded by Arts Council England through the Ambition for Excellence fund and Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, tech partners, Cambridge Consultants and ARM and Anglia Ruskin UniversityUniversity of Cambridge Museums and supported by Cambridge Junction and Leverhulme Centre for Future Intelligence.
