What do we do
As the name suggests, Collusion does not operate in a vacuum; but instead has been built around a proactive network of artists, technologists, businesspeople and academics, whose combined input helps to push the artworks in new directions.
Collusion’s practice-based approach focuses on great ideas, research & development and invites a unique group of people from different backgrounds to be in_collusion. Cambridge is the home to one of the biggest tech clusters in Europe, as well as two universities, so provides uniquely fertile soil for this; and our network of partners and Colluders frequently gives artists, behind-the-scenes access to pioneering new ideas and technologies. It helps that our core team is made up of artists, technologies, producers with experience of partnership and project working, liaison with universities and managing grant funding.
Our programmes connect artists with experts, internationally-renowned speakers and get hands-on, exploring and experimenting with emerging technologies generating new thinking and practice, leading to innovative new work.
