Selected Artists: Collusion Labs

03/05/2017

Collusion is thrilled to share with you the artists we’ve selected for upcoming labs on virtual, augmented and mixed reality in May and artificial intelligence in June.

The selected artists will attend week-long development sessions designed by Directors Simon (artist and curator) and Rachel (creative producer) to be immersive, inspirational and ideas-led.

Collusion’s practice-based approach focuses on great ideas, research & development and invites a unique group of people from different backgrounds to be in_collusion. Our labs connect artists with experts, internationally-renowned speakers and get hands-on, exploring and experimenting with emerging technologies generating new thinking and practice, leading to innovative new work.

We are very happy to be working with two great partners specifically on these labs; Cambridge Junction who will host and support the VR, AR and MR lab and Leverhulme Centre for Future Intelligence for the AI Lab. After participating in the labs, a select number of artists will have the opportunity to work with Collusion on short R&D projects showcasing in late 2017 and all participants can apply to our larger commissions programme announced later this year. The selected artists are:
